I brought my car in last Wednesday by a tow truck because my car stopped running randomly in the middle of the street. I called early 8am on Thursday to make sure my car was safe and to ask for a diagnostic. They indicated they were going to start diagnostic and call me back. By 12pm, I call again and the front desk lady indicates my transmission needed replacement. Then they quoted me $9000. After reviewing my options, I found out I had extended warranty. When I came back with that option, the lady started insinuating that I did not take proper care of my car (which is not true). She also mentioned that the warranty company will send an adjuster and they will ask for documents and evidence of maintenance. She also indicated that the adjuster was going to claim that the K&N cold air intake filter had caused the damage. (Also not true). I waited until Friday to talk to my mechanic and they indicated the filter could not cause the damage and their quote was WAY cheaper. ($5000 less). Be aware of these kind of places, they will steal your money and the insurance money if they can. The warranty just approved the repair without any hesitation with my mechanic.
We take all customer feedback seriously, but we respectfully disagree with several points in this review. Our initial estimate was based on the information available at the time of inspection and reflects standard pricing for the scope of work required. We always encourage customers to explore all available options, including extended warranty coverage, and we fully cooperate with warranty companies and their adjusters as part of the normal process. Regarding maintenance and aftermarket parts, it is our responsibility to inform customers that certain modifications—such as aftermarket intake systems—may be reviewed by warranty providers during the approval process. This is not an accusation, but simply transparency about how warranty claims are typically handled. We do not make determinations on behalf of warranty companies, nor do we benefit from claim outcomes. Our goal is to provide accurate diagnostics and professional guidance so customers can make informed decisions. We are glad to hear your repair was approved and completed (using our diagnostic at no charge at all to you), and we wish you the best moving forward. Thank you and have a great and blessed rest of the week.
